General Information[]
Bari is a Sunni Egyptian Arab iqta located in the Calabria and Apulia areas, Italy region, of the Western Europe subcontinent: arising during the 'Charlemagne' era. Emerging, with cores, from Chalcedonian Byzantium in 847, the iqta borders Shia countries ( Sicily (Muslim) southwest across the Straits of Messina), Chalcedonian countries ( Salerno and Benevento northwest), the waters of the Eastern Mediterranean are (Mediterranean region) east and the waters of the Western Mediterranean are (Mediterranean region) southwest.
Bari, losing its core, will be annexed by Salerno and Byzantium in 871, and will not appear on the map for the rest of the timeline.
