Berar, at it start, is a Sunni Marathi indian sultanate located in the Berar and North Telingana areas, Deccan region, India subcontinent of the Asia continent. Gaining cores in 1317, the sultanate emerges from Shia Bahmanis in 1490, bordering fellow Sunni Ahmednagar and Khandesh west and Malwa north, Hindu Garha north and Ratanpur and Chanda east, and Shia Bahmanis and Golkonda south.

Berar will be split between Ahmednagar, Golkonda and Chanda in 1574, loses cores by 1930 and never appears on-map again.
