Bon

General Information

Bon is the religion that existed in early Tibet and Bhutan before Vajrayana Buddhism was spread into Tibet and Bhutan. Its teachings were somewhat similar to modern day Tibetan Buddhism.

Technical Information

To spawn or convert provinces to Bon in-game using console commands, such as by using the command change_religion (province ID) (religion name), the console name for Bon is tibetan_bon.

Mechanics 

Bon is in the Eastern religion group, therefore  Confucian, Tengri, Shinto, and Muist are consideredheretics. Every other religion will be considered heathens. Other than a few generic decisions available to any country in the Eastern religion group, Bon has no unique features such as Karma, Harmony, religious syncretism, or personal deities; all mechanics that can be observed in neighboring religions.

    • Opinion is less than 0.
  • Hainan:
    • Province Owner:
      • Is in the Christian religion group.
      • Opinion is less than 0.
  • Aomen:
    • Province Owner:
      • Is in the Christian religion group.
      • Opinion is less than 0.
  • Sakam:
    • Province Owner:
      • Is in the Christian religion group.
      • Opinion is less than 0.

Upon Enactment:

• Gain Anti-Christian Edict for the rest of the campaign.
  • +2% Missionary Strength
  • -10% Improve Relations
