Castile, at its start, is a Catholic Castilian feudal monarchy located in the Asturias and Vasconia areas, Iberia region of the Western Europe subcontinent. Gaining cores in 924, the monarchy emerges from Catholic León as their vassal in 931, bordering fellow Catholic León west, Navarra east and West Francia northeast, Sunni Cordoba south and the waters of the Cote D'Argent (Bay of Biscay area, North Atlantic region) north.
After conquering most of Iberia over the centuries Castile will unite with Catholic Aragon to form Catholic Spain on January 23, 1516, lose cores by April 11, 1713 and never appears on-map again.

History[]
Castile completed the reconquista "reconquest" of Iberia after the surrender of Granada in 1492. Castille later goes on to form Spain in 1516. In practice however, Spain did not exist as a single entity until the enactment of the Nueva Planta decrees by Philip V de Bourbon unified all of Spain's Iberian territories under the control of Madrid at the end of the War of Spanish Succession.
Castile is historical friends with Portugal.
