General Information[]
For the pre-Arab, Kemetic Egypt, see Egypt (ancient).
Egypt, at its start, is a Sunni Egyptian Arab autocracy located mainly in the Egypt region of the Africa continent. The kingdom emerges from the splitting Sunni Abbasids caliphate on September 15, 868, gaining cores, bordering Sunni Tunisia and Khawarij Fezzan west, Miaphysite Makuria, Beja, Alodia and Aksum south, Sunni Yemen and Shia San'a southeast, Shia Najd and Sunni Abbasids east, Orthodox Byzantium north, waters of the Eastern Mediterranean north and Red Sea (Arabian Sea region) southeast.
Egypt will be re-annexed by the Abbasids on January 10, 905, breaks from them again on August 26, 935, annexed by the Shia Fatimids caliphate on March 1, 970, replaces Fatimids control on 1171, fully integrated into the Sunni Mamluks on March 1, 1260.
After for many centuries Egypt will be released as a puppet of the Sunni Ottomans on May 17, 1805, conquered fully by colonial nations: ( Catholic Italy) Sunni Italian Somaliland, (Anglican Great Britain) Sunni British Sudan and Great Britain themselves in 1890, released from the now Secular Great Britain on December 19, 1914, and will form Sunni Arabia with Sunni Syria on February 22, 1958.
Egypt will emerge finally from Sunni Arabia on September 2, 1971 to exist on-map to the current day.

Strategy[]
Present Day[]
As Egypt you have a pretty good chance at dominating the African continent and the Middle East due to your good starting position. Fabricating on Sudan and Libya is good for early expansion. There are plenty of potential allies, so you don't have to worry about fighting alone. Turkey, Algeria, and Iran are usually great allies if you are playing as Egypt.
Annexing Israel[]
Israel has an absolutely amazing amount of development and should be annexed once the USA revokes their guarantee. If they don't, it's not a big deal because you will get ticking war-score and eventually the Americans will give up.
