If an Egyptian Egyptian nation controls Cairo (361) before 1000. They will get Conquest of Memphis event. This will allow them to convert to the Old Egyptian culture or refuse and gain Icon stability +1 Stability instead. But this event will only fire once. The Egyptian Egyptian nation will have to get the Cairo province before any Egyptian Egyptian does.

Egyptian also possesses personal deities. Upon ruler death, the player has an option to worship one deity which will give the player unique bonuses depending on the God or Goddess chosen. The player may choose one deity once every time their ruler dies. The options are the following:
