Estonia, at its start, is a Suomenusko Estonian tribal monarchy located in the Estonia and Curonia areas, Baltic region of the Eastern Europe subcontinent. The tribe emerges from uncolonized native land in 550, with cores, bordering fellow Suomenusko Livonia south and Chud east, Romuva Curonia southwest and the waters of the Baltic Sea northwest and southwest.
Estonia will be annexed by the Catholic Teutonic Order in 1240, losing cores in 1300 but gaining them back in 1869, comes back on-map from Secular Russia on February 24, 1918, annexed into the Secular Soviet Union on June 16, 1940.
The annexed nation temporarily breaks from Soviet Union on September 18, 1994, will be brought back into the USSR on September 22, permanently breaks from them on August 20, 1991 to be on-map to the present day.
Estonia joins the European Union on May 1, 2004.
