Ifat, at its start, is a Sunni Somali autocracy located in the Ifat and Ogaden areas, Horn of Africa region of the Africa continent. The monarchy emerges from Sunni Adal and uncolonized native land in 1185, gaining cores, bordering fellow Sunni Adal and Afar north, Shewa west, Dawaro southwest, uncolonized native land east and the waters of the Arabian Sea north.
Ifat will be replaced in power by Adal in 1415, losing cores and never appears on-map again.
