Liberia Liberia is a country located in West Africa. Liberia was founded by Christian Missionaries from the United States of America United States who purchased and then freed African-American slaves, and then brought them to Liberia for resettlement; this was known as the "Back-to-Africa" movement. United States of America The United States owns the territory of Liberia from 1822 until July 26th, 1847, where the Liberia is granted its independence, and is playable from then to the present day.
