General Information[]
Morocco, at its start, is a Shia Moroccan iqta located in the western provinces of the Maghreb region, of the Africa continent. The iqta is formed by the lands of Fetishist Sus and Atlas, Khawarij Sijilmasa and Fez and Sunni Nekor in 789, with cores, bordering Fetishist Barghawata west, Khawarij Sijilmasa southeast and Mzab east, Sunni Nekor northeast, uncolonized native land south, waters of the Western Mediterranean north and West African Coast (West African Sea region) west.
Morocco will be annexed by the Shia Fatimids in 922, break from the Fatimids in 925, be re-annexed by the Fatimids in 927, break from the Fatimids again in 937, have its lands split to Sunni Sanhaja, Atlas and Cordoba, and Khawarij Sijilmasa and Tlemcen in 974.
Morocco will be reformed with the lands of Barghawata, Sanhaja, Sijilmasa and Fez in 1040, be annexed by the now Sunni Fez in 1472, finally reformed again with the lands of Sunni Tafilalt, Tlemcen and Fez in 1549, and is on-map to the present day.
