Papua New Guinea, at its start, is a 
Secular 
Papuan 
parliamentary republic located mainly in the Eastern Papua area, Moluccas region, East Indies subcontinent of the Oceania and Asia continent. Gaining 
cores on December 1, 1973, the republic emerges from Secular 
Australia on September 16, 1975 bordering fellow Secular 
Indonesia west and the waters of the Southwest Pacific in every other direction.

Papua New Guinea is an independent nation that used to be a colony of Great Britain. It also shares half of the island of New Guinea with Indonesia. Before the end of World War One, Germany owned the northern portion of Papua New Guinea. This colony was called Kaiser-Wilhelmsland; named after Kaiser Wilhelm II, the last Emperor of Germany.
