General Information[]
Tortosa is a Sunni Andalusian iqta located in the Catalonia area, Iberia region, of the Western Europe subcontinent; arising during the 'Holy Roman Empire' era. Emerging, gaining cores, from Sunni Cordoba in 1010 the iqta borders fellow Sunni countries ( Cordoba west and Valencia southwest), Catholic countries ( Navarra northwest and Catalonia northeast) and the waters of the Gulf of Valencia (Western Mediterranean area, Mediterranean region) southeast.
Tortosa will be annexed by Sunni Zaragoza in 1060, released from Zaragoza in 1081, annexed by Sunni Morocco in 1115, cores staying until 1117, and will appear on the map for the rest of the timeline.
